Alekman DiTusa, LLC Supports Our Troops Serving Overseas
In December of 2011, LAZER 99.3 FM held their annual Christmas tree ornament sale. The ornaments cost $10.00, and a portion of the proceeds were used to provide holiday care packages to troops serving overseas. In order to encourage sale of the ornaments, Attorneys Alekman and DiTusa agreed to a matching donation equal to first 48 ornaments sold at Thirsty Thursdays in December. The holidays are difficult for anyone spending time away from their families, and hopefully the care packages helped lift the spirits of our troops.
Alekman DiTusa recognized for donation to children.

Tornado Relief Fundraiser 2011
On June 1, 2011 an F3 tornado touched down in Western Massachusetts causing substantial damage to the homes and businesses that stood in its path. Our building in Springfield took a direct hit, and we were fortunate that our staff survived the incident without physical injury. However, many other residents in the area weren't as lucky. The next day, Alekman DiTusa, LLC partnered with Lazer 99.3 and Rock 102.1 to raise money for the Red Cross. We pledged to match every dollar collected by the radio stations in the week after the tornado, up to $5,000. Over $21,000 was raised by this joint effort in less than one week. In addition, Alekman DiTusa, LLC pledged to donate $5 to the local chapter of the Red Cross for every "like" we received on our Facebook page (up to an additional $5,000). In less than a month we received over 800 likes from people who supported our efforts, and while we were just shy of our original goal of 1,000 likes, we donated the full $5,000. You can find out more about our relief program by visiting our Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Alekman-DiTusa-LLC/187141611324598?sk=wall
